The Zipheads, ein klassisches Trio aus England, präsentieren euch eine Mischung aus Rock'n'Roll der 50er-Jahre und der Energie des Punkrocks der 70er-Jahre. Ihr Songkatalog zeichnet sich durch eine vielfältige Bandbreite an Einflüssen aus, von Rockabilly, Swing, Surf, Folk und Country bis hin zu Ska, Reggae und Hardcore-Punk. Seit 2013 sind The Zipheads aktiv auf Tour und haben bereits Bühnen in Großbritannien, Kontinentaleuropa, Skandinavien und den USA bespielt. Sie traten außerdem auf Festivals wie Glastonbury und Boomtown auf und waren sogar im estnischen Fernsehen zu sehen. Bis 2025 haben sie drei Alben, eine Instrumental-EP (2022) und mehrere Singles veröffentlicht – darunter Veröffentlichungen in Zusammenarbeit mit Bomber Music, Western Star Records sowie der Joe Strummer Foundation.
The Zipheads play Rock'n'Roll infused with punk, taking influence from the founding fathers of the 1950s like Little Richard and Chuck Berry, via the punk and new wave heroes of the 70s such as The Clash and Elvis Costello, along the way encompassing surf, swing, soul, country, folk, ska and reggae as well as most other types of music you could care to imagine into the mix.
To date, they have released 3 full-length albums, one instrumental EP and a handful of singles and have performed live at venues and festivals all over the UK and Europe as well as appearances in the USA.
